SEAGP Donated 10 Million Kyat to the Mandalay Region Women Committee

On the afternoon of January 3, 2019, Mr. Li Wenbin, Assistant President of South East Asia Gas Pipeline Company Limited, Honorary Chairman of Mandalay Chinese Chamber of Commerce, was invited to attend the 2019 New Year Gathering organized by Mandalay Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and on behalf of the SEAGP, donated 10 million kyat to Mandalay Region Women Committee for the project of prevention and protection of abandoned babies.

Wang Zongying, Consulate-General of China in Mandalay, Dr. Zaw Myint Maung, Chief Minister of the Mandalay Region of Myanmar, U Htun Myint, Chairman of Mandalay Myanmar-China Friendship Association, U Kyaw Min, Chairman of Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other officials attended the gathering.

Dr. Yu Yu May, the Honorary Chairman of the Mandalay Region Women Committee, wife of Chief Minister of Mandalay Region accepted the donation money on behalf of the committee and awarded the honorary certificate to SEAGP, and introduced the work of project of prevention and protection of abandoned babies in Myanmar.

SEAGP donated to the Mandalay Region Women Committee for Project on Prevention and Protection of Abandoned Babies, which aims to care for the growth of local children and support the development of charity in Myanmar.

SEAGP will make unremitting efforts to ensure the safe and stable operation of natural gas pipeline. At the same time, it will continue to fulfill not only its Corporate Social Responsibility but also benefit more people in Myanmar.

At the gathering, the staff of Chinese Chamber of Commerce performed a wonderful national song and dance. The representative of the SEAGP’s Myanmar Employees performed the classic song “Dedication of Love”.
