Myanmar-China Oil and Gas Pipeline Project Enters New Era

According to latest statistic, until the end of March, 2017, Myanmar-China Gas Pipeline has transported gas of 13.3 billion m3 to China and offload gas of 1.5 billion m3 in Myanmar through Kyaukpyu, Mandalay, Taungtha and Yenangyaung offtake stations and benefited Myanmar and Chinese people. On April 10, 2017, the Myanmar-China Crude Oil Pipeline, which was buried along with gas pipeline, is put into commissioning, signaling the operation of both Myanmar-China Oil and Gas Pipeline and starting a new era of transnational energy cooperation.
